<Project Overview>
Dream in Light is a permanent nighttime lighting content program commissioned by the Seoul Design Foundation and produced in collaboration with LIVE-LAB. The project aims to transform DDP into a “365-day night landmark,” positioning it as one of Seoul’s signature illuminated cityscape attractions.
LIVE-LAB led the full scope of creative and technical development—including the architectural lighting system design, permanent lighting show programming, laser system design, laser graphic creation, and a special commemorative light show celebrating ENHYPEN’s 5th debut anniversary.
<Key Features & Systems>
SKYLIGHT – Permanent Lighting Program
LIVE-LAB developed SKYLIGHT, a system that visualizes real-time weather data through dynamic façade lighting across DDP’s 222-meter front structure.
- Cool tones on hot days
- Warm tones on cold days
This design allows visitors to sense the atmosphere of the city through light.
Weather-themed laser graphics featuring “Haechi & Seoul Friends” were created using Beambrush laser technology and are displayed above Miraero and near the Underground Exhibition Hall.
<ENHYPEN ENniversary Light Show>
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of ENHYPEN, Seoul’s honorary ambassadors, LIVE-LAB designed a large-scale lighting show synchronized with the track “Polaroid Love.”
This show unfolds across the full 222-meter façade, creating an immersive visual experience for fans and visitors.
<Integrated Control Through PIXERA>
All systems—including lighting, lasers, projection mapping, networking, timecode synchronization, and daily weather API data—were unified within PIXERA.
This enabled a fully automated structure ensuring stable playback at every scheduled showtime.
<Show Sequence>
Dream in Light is presented in the following sequence and runs at DDP through November 30.
(Program temporarily pauses in December for Seoul Light DDP preparations and resumes as a permanent installation from January.)
